KEY STAGE TWO PHASE LEAD
The Headteacher and Governors of Feniscowles Primary School are looking to appoint a highly-motivated and talented class teacher to join our Senior Leadership Team.
The successful applicant will lead a phase in school and also support with the implementation of school development plan priorities.
Whilst previous experience in each of these roles is preferred, we recognise that leadership skills are transferable.
We are seeking an excellent practitioner who:
has a deep-rooted passion and love for education and for the teaching profession
has experience of teaching upper key stage 2
is able to lead, motivate and inspire others in order to take the school forward on our improvement journey
is able to lead a key area linked to the School Development Plan

has a proven track record of strong classroom practice can demonstrate how they impact positively on raising attainment and standards

The selection process will involve an observed lesson (to take place in your current setting wherever possible). Dates and times can be discussed collaboratively; choosing between Friday 8th May and Thursday 14th May
Those who are successful from the observed lesson will then be invited to the final stage: formal interview. This will involve an unseen task and a panel interview on Friday 15th May.

TEACHING ASSISTANT
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant join our school; to provide a supportive, stimulating learning environment and to share our high expectations of achievement for all our children. The successful applicant will work in the classroom, deliver targeted interventions and provide welfare support at lunchtimes supporting the class teacher and assisting in meeting the personal, social and educational needs of all our children.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed volunteers to support our school community. Opportunities include working in the classroom, supporting with administrative tasks, and listening to children read.
At our school, we take safeguarding very seriously. All volunteers will be required to attend an interview, have an enhanced DBS check and provide references. A full induction process will also be completed, just as it would be for a paid member of staff, ensuring our high standards are maintained.
