The Friday celebration assembly is the highlight of our school week! Each building hosts their own assembly, led by Mr Andrew (our Headteacher) or Miss Dootson (our Deputy Headteacher) and we delight in sharing all the wonderful achievements which our children have made during the previous week.  If your child wins an award, families are invited into school to watch the assembly and share in the celebrations! Prospective families are also always welcome to join us for a Friday assembly. 

There are two distinct awards here at Feniscowles:

The Achievement Award

This award celebrates work completed in class. It may be that we have a budding historian; a marvellous mathematician or a talented artist. It may be that we have a great writer; someone who excelled in French (Key Stage 2 only) or even a musical maestro! The award always celebrates effort across all the different curriculum areas.

The Feniscowles Child Award

This award celebrates the child more holistically. It celebrates their individual personalities and who they are growing up to become. We link this award very closely to our school values of respect, endeavour, inclusion, forgiveness, safety and integrity. This award support our character education in school and celebrates skills beyond just academics.
