Welcome to
Our School
Feniscowles Primary School is a thriving school with a strong reputation. It has been my privilege to be headteacher since September 2020.
All schools have their own distinctive culture and ethos, which makes each one unique. We believe that our distinctive culture is rooted in a shared understanding of 'The Feniscowles Way'.

What a magical start to the morning, welcoming Father Christmas into the Infants! The children were so excited to see him and his elves. A huge thank you to Keystage Supply for lending us the amazing grotto, and to our very own Father Christmas and his little elves for making the magic happen!
A huge thank-you to all of of families who came to join us for the Nativity performances this week! It was lovely to welcome so many of you into school for this very special (and very cute) festive event! A thank you also goes to our stage director Mrs Morgan and all of our year 1 and 2 staff for all of the hard work that goes in to a production like this. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
This morning we enjoyed a festive breakfast at Pitstop, our morning and after school club, with almost 90 very full bellies! We are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received throughout the year. A huge thank you to our hardworking Pitstop staff, who consistently go above and beyond to make our wraparound care special, welcoming, and enjoyable for all the children. Merry Christmas - Team Pitstop!

Year 1 parents you are in for a treat. Children and staff have been working so hard rehearsing for the nativity and cannot wait to showcase all their hard work with you next week! #Nativity
This week Mrs Henry and 4 children in Year 2 took part in an Inter-School Curling Competition at St. Bede's. All children showed determination and respect. They were a credit to our school. After a bit of a mix up with medals, all teams came away with a gold - Thank you for the early Christmas present, Mr Mercer! We also had great support from the parents too. Thank you for coming to watch! A big thank you also to Mrs Turner for transporting the children, ensuring they could take part.
This half term we have had a focus on "future jobs and careers" and welcomed LOTS of visitors to our assemblies to tell us all about their roles. This morning, we welcomed Jack the paramedic who told us lots about working in the emergency services. He spoke about how a big part of his job is to be caring and kind! He also said Maths, Science, English and safety are really important too! A huge thank-you Jack for coming in this morning!
