September 2020 - Arrangements (originally posted 17th July)

Feniscowles Primary School

September Arrangements

It has been necessary to make changes to how school will operate, as the children return in September. These changes are in accordance with current government and LA guidelines. As you will appreciate, this is an evolving situation and we may need to make further changes, we will keep you up to date with these.

When the children return in September we will be operating staggered start and finish times. There will be no reduction in teaching time for the children and, if necessary, to achieve this lunch and/or breaks will be shortened.

We have been operating roughly this way for the last half term, albeit on lower numbers of children. The arrangements will be kept under review, taking into consideration any new government guidance.

Wherever possible we will operate a one-way system. The Livesey Branch Road gate to the infants will be locked at all times. The junior Recreation ground gate will be locked in the morning and will be “no entry” at the end of the school day.

Other than for drop-off and collection, parents will not be allowed into school without first calling to make an appointment

Drop Off and Pick Up

Only one parent/carer should accompany and collect the child.  Please arrive at the gate at the stated time.  You will not be able to enter the school grounds until your allocated time.
