Hello everyone! I just wanted to tell you all a little story about my daughter Emily who is now 16. She is in her final year at St Wilfrid's but she used to go to Feniscowles. Her younger brother Zak is in year 5 - some of you might know him. If I ask Emily about the exciting things which have happened in her life she will tell you all that one of the best things ever is the trip to ROBINWOOD in year 6. She was not really bothered about staying away from home but some of her friends were a little bit worried they would get home sick. However, once they had begun having so much fun, they soon settled in. It might seem a lot of money for some Mum's and Dad's to afford but if you can save up and let your child go, the rewards are amazing. There is so much to do and see and Emily came back so much more confident. She still talks about the Piranha Pool and Stream Walk to this day! I remember when she came home and we went to meet the coach. All the kids bounced off the coach and never stopped talking about their experience. Zak was with us and he was only in Reception class then. I asked him if he would like to go to Robinwood when he was a big boy - he said only if I went with him! I cannot believe he has brought his letter home to say his time has arrived. He asked if he could go and, of course, I think you all know the answer.

That is an interesting suggestion - why don't you bring it up at your next class council.
